These sessions are designed to help you get the most out of your plot or acreage, and can cover any gardening or soil topics of interest, including:
site evaluation & setting up a new garden
garden design & connection of garden elements
soil health & recommendations for improvement
solutions for shelter & screening
crop health, including pests, diseases & disorders
weed management
mulching & soil protection methods
green manuring & crop rotation
supporting biodiversity with beneficial plants
compost system design & health assessment
food forest & orchard production & management
crop recommendations & suitable varieties
greenhouse growing
irrigation & water conservation

My consultation fees are as follows:
On-site Visit, includes travel to Dunedin area
1-hr consult = $100
2-hr consult = $175
3-hr consult = $235
4-hr consult = $300
For additional consultation time above 4hrs or for larger groups, or other destinations please contact me to discuss.
Once your consult time is booked, I will prepare for our session with an overview of your property via aerial maps and an email questionnaire, so I can clarify your goals before I visit. This is included in the cost of the On-site consultation.
I am available for site consultations Friday - Sunday.
Phone Consultations
These consults can be booked as half hour sessions, at the following rates
half hour = $40
one hour = $70
If you think we need more than an hour on the phone, I would suggest a site visit is necessary.
